I have seen people do this to a client and destroy their self confidence, their relationship with their therapist and their ability to feel like they were on the path to recovery.

Please remember that each of our client is a person first and last, their disorder is a small part of who they are. Each client is unique and desires unique treatment and should be treated with up-most respect.
